I forgot too much of the wisdom that I had found long ago. I forgot and found myself having fallen horribly deep into this terrible dream, till all I could hear was

My Inner Scream.

He was Terrence Trent D’Arby, and he was clearly to me, already then, during my late teens, here to learn and grow, deeply, as I am. But although we both have come to have been given a new name, I do not think we’ve been growing the same.

I listened to his words of wisdom, countless of times. So how could I have forgotten? …did it perhaps not have enough relevance for me then, to relate to his wisdom with? …I guess maybe I had to learn the hard way.

I suspect the-hard-way to have a deeper purpose, a greater depth of details, which all means that one learns something so profoundly, that one will never fail to see it happening in the future.

To My Love,

I can now best surely say; it is not your fault, but it is because of you.
…because I couldn’t see what else I could do,
to keep what you don’t understand away from you.
Though as impossible as a task like this is meant to be,
I did not succeed to see
that it brings no good, for neither you nor for me.

Unaware of the wisdom we could have come to see,
instead we both got angry, so we both hurt me.
As I was fighting me, to keep it away from you, I faught with the impossible, while busy trying I did not see, that it was closing me off from listening to me …
…impossibly trying to spare you, an impossible battle to try to do,
with which instead I hurt myself so much more deeply than I hurt you.

Now with these old wise words, I wish you the comfort of understanding me, as I know in these words you will see, and surely start to recognize me …

  • A carnival of confusion
  • A carousel of emotions
  • A freak show of frustration
  • A merry-go-round mojo

Remake of “The Scream” by Edvard Munch

If you’re not good to yourself

you’ll be drowned out by your inner scream

If you’re not good to yourself

then your anger becomes a disease

    A carnival of confusion

    A carousel of emotions

    A freak show of frustration

    A merry-go-round mojo

If you’re not good to yourself

    you’ll look elsewhere for absolution

If you’re not good to yourself

    then your self-doubt becomes retribution

    A side-show of suspicion

    A ferris wheel of fear

    A rollercoaster of madness

    A circus of solitude loneliness

If you’re not good to yourself

GO ON AND LET YOUR SCREAM OUT

    let it out

If you’re not good to yourself

you’ll be drowned out by your inner scream

If you’re not good to yourself

GO ON AND LET YOUR SCREAM OUT

    let it out”
