This is not your ordinary health and wellness space, but a deeply authentic and personal venture, born out of over three decades of lived experiments and experiences, trial and error, relentless curiosity, and a refusal to just settle for all the conventional paths, that society tends to follow, such as the "supposedly no solutions invented or found yet". Here you won't find trendy health fads, or yet another hurdle to solve a hurdle with, or another challenge to solve a challenge with, and you surely won't find a pill to suppress any symptoms with either. If anything of the sort, then the only challenge for some might be to get comfortable with the simplicity and ease of unfamiliar ways, in a world full of industries that mostly work to keep you challenged and subscribed one way or another.
What you will find is real, human-tested insight into living a naturally energised and balanced life -- all offered with honesty, warmth, and a pinch of irony.
The Story Behind SmilaZ
Behind every great project, there is a story, and SmilaZ began with a woman's own journey. After more than 35 years of exploration into human energy, health, and natural living, I discovered several things, and eventually some unexpectedly powerful things, such as effortless and unnatural weight loss -- and more importantly, an energy boost that actually lasts. It was this discovery that inspired my first book and later became the seed from which this entire website grew. Unlike many who dive into the wellness space through formal training or trendy certifications, I arrived here by living it. I was always drawn to the more healthy and pure things, not that I never indulged in such things as alcohol and smoking, as well as using pharmaceuticals and synthetic vitamins for health, all of which do serve their purpose, typically in moderation, but typically not for everyone. In a stressful world, most of us all benefit from at least one of all those things in some way or another, at some point. BUT eventually, any one of them tends to cause some damage with some of their side effects, as antibiotics did to me.
I've experimented, observed, adjusted, given up temporarily many times, but only to keep going anyway.
It never really worked for me to just follow the masses nor all the prescribed ways for everything. I always ended up feeling the call of my senses, my intuition, my body and instincts, and my relentless curiosity.
I learned the hard way — and in doing so, I uncovered some surprising truths.
What SmilaZ offers

Why Separate
Energy Boosting from Weight Loss?
Because not everyone wants or needs to lose weight, but nearly everyone is looking for more energy.
The energy boost I have discovered is a steady, subtle kind of energy that lasts approximately 8 hours
—the perfect length for a full workday, a whole day full of children, or any demanding schedule. It’s ideal for people who want to feel alive and capable without relying on too much coffee (if any at all), on sugar or artificial stimulants. And that is why I have decided to write a second, smaller book specifically focused on this topic separately. It deserves its own spotlight.
The Coffee Irony: Why I Teach the World’s Best Coffee Brew
Here’s where things get deliciously human: While my energy boost discovery has actually led some people to stop drinking coffee altogether, I’m also the same person who teaches how to make the world’s best cup of coffee.
It’s ironic, sure. It's even funny. But that’s real life. It’s layered, contradictory, and rarely black and white.
I myself drink a morning coffee every day, because I genuinely enjoy it. And even though I know it's not the healthiest choice, I also know that health is about balance, not perfection.
But adding this little twist to the whole of SmilaZ space has come about because, throughout the years, I keep hearing people bringing up this seemingly random question of what a really good cup of coffee is.
And so, because I happen to know the answer, I decided to add this option about what it actually is, from bean to brew, that can bring this very joy in question. And if you must drink coffee, then why not make it a healthier one when it actually is possible?
Personalized Human-to-Human Consultations
It has come to my attention that not everyone wants to read or watch videos. Some people prefer that personal one-on-one connection, and to really hear and learn something, many of us need that real human connection with someone who actually listens, understands, and tailors advice more personally.
That is why I offer personalised consultations on all the topics that I share so far:

These sessions are part conversation, part lesson, and part inspiration. You may consider them a kind of luxury: a return to the time when people passed down knowledge face-to-face. And now in a world dominated by automation and fast answers, human-to-human connection sessions are increasingly more important because they hold that real human value.
The "Blog" That Isn’t Really a Blog
Yes, I have a blog —sort of. It’s technically a blog, but I prefer not to call it that. Why? Because the word "blog" comes with expectations: frequent posts, clickbait headlines, SEO obsession. But that’s not what I’m here to do.
Instead, I use that space to share what for the moment is inspirations to easy but healthy food making, because writing the book about the effortless natural weight loss and energy boost had me reflecting on all the types of people who either think they don't have time, or think they know what is healthy, but also all those people who always eat out as I used to do as well, so that they have no idea what they should or could make at home so easily, not to mention all those who think that processed foods are real foods.
That’s why I have labelled it “blog” — with quotation marks — in the menu. Because it is not content for the sake of content. It’s an extension of and a bit of support to the real, evolving journey that this platform represents.
But on this note, I should mention that in support of www.smilaz.space to give you more of an interactive option, we have smilaz.substack.com, which can be used as a community space. And when you subscribe (at the bottom of this page that you are reading right now) to register your interest in any upcoming discovery or the occasional update, know that all of that is actually going through my Substack, which you might notice when you receive a message from SmilaZ in your inbox some day.
A Place for Explorers & Seekers
... and those only corporate when at work.
SmilaZ space isn’t about wellness trends. It’s about real things that truly work and don't bring long-term side effects. It is also for those who sense that there are answers even to many of the things to which the doctors have learned that there aren't, or that there are better and natural answers to many things.
Here, you’re welcome to explore. I encourage that you be curious. I encourage you to listen to your own senses and try things your own way. You are also welcome to share your thoughts or experience, as well as ask questions, which you can do on Substack, and there is even a chat for subscribers. And know that I laugh with you at contradictions (like being a health enthusiast who drinks coffee (or even smokes)).
It's also about trusting yourself again. It’s about finding sustainable health without hustle, confusion, or shame, without having to replace a problem with something that creates a new problem.

Even just now, as I was writing one of the previous sections, a friend contacted me with a leg pain that feels like a hip problem, to which I happen to have a solution, because I've had the very same problem. He has already been given injections and antibiotics, and has even been told that he might end up needing a hip replacement someday, which I am sure we can avoid without any problems. And some of the things that a doctor told him were so ridiculous that I am going to have to write something about it for sure.
